Twin City Christian Homes Foundation

The Twin City Christian Homes (TCCH) Foundation was formed in 1985 for the purpose of providing ongoing financial support to sustain the overall mission of the organization and its affiliates, in serving older adults through housing and support services within a caring community. Funds that support TCCH are raised through special events, designated campaigns, chapel service offerings, memorial gifts, and planned gifts such as through wills, trusts, and annuities.

Designated Giving Opportunities

TCCH Spiritual Care Program

In 1984, the board of directors and staff at TCCH began a Spiritual Care Program for the purpose of ministering to the spiritual needs of residents living in TCCH’s senior communities. The belief was then, and still is today, that growing older is often the greatest challenge of one’s life. It is a time that can be filled with the freedom and time to enjoy life, and at the same time can be fraught with loss and questions about the end of life. TCCH chaplains understand and can help address the unique spiritual issues facing older adults as they age.

The Spiritual Care Program provides a chaplain in every senior housing community managed by TCCH. Chaplains lead chapel, memorial and holiday services, lead Bible studies, and provide pastoral visiting, counseling and a variety of other responsibilities that vary at each community based on residents’ needs. Our satisfaction surveys have revealed that TCCH residents have a high level of satisfaction with the chaplains and the service they provide.

TCCH raises funds every year that support and maintain the organization’s Spiritual Care Program. The funds specifically go to provide chaplains at four of the senior housing communities where funding sources are not adequate to cover the costs of this vital ministry.

Twin City Christian Homes Endowment Fund

The TCCH Enduring Gift Endowment Fund was set up in order to meet the goals and objectives of the organization in perpetuity. Within TCCH’s mission, and at the sole discretion of the board of directors of the TCCH Foundation, the Endowment Fund provides support for the various organizational needs not traditionally and historically covered in the operations budget.
